Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern the use of private tour guide services and digital content services provided under the brand Purple Shoes, operated by BRP Corporation Co., Ltd. (the “Company”), and define the rights, obligations, and responsibilities between the Company and users.


Article 1 (Purpose)

These Terms set forth the conditions and procedures for using travel products and digital content (including Guidebook ONLY, Video Guide, Korea Guide Kit, etc.) provided through the Company’s website and related services, as well as the rights, obligations, and responsibilities between the Company and users.


Article 2 (Definitions)

1. “Services” refer to all tour guide services and digital content provided by the Company through its website.
2. “User” refers to any individual who uses the Services in accordance with these Terms, whether as a member or a non-member.
3. “Member” refers to a user who has completed registration by providing personal information to the Company.
4. “Non-member” refers to a user who uses the Services without registering as a member.
5. “Digital Content” refers to all content provided in electronic form, including Guidebook ONLY, Video Guide, and Korea Guide Kit. Digital content may be provided via streaming or download, and all copyrights remain with the Company.
6. “Travel Products” refer to private tours and customized travel guide services provided by the Company.


Article 3 (Effectiveness and Amendment of the Terms)

1. These Terms become effective when they are posted on the Service or otherwise made available to users and the user agrees to them.
2. The Company may amend these Terms to the extent permitted by applicable laws.
3. In the event of any amendment, the Company shall notify users in advance by posting the details and effective date on the website.
4. If a user does not agree to the amended Terms, the user may discontinue use of the Services. Continued use of the Services after the effective date of the amended Terms shall be deemed acceptance of the amended Terms.


Article 4 (Use by Members and Non-members)

1. Users may use the Services either as members or non-members.
2. Members may access additional features provided by the Company, such as reservation history and re-access to digital content.
3. Non-members may be subject to limitations in using certain Services.
4. Users must provide accurate information when using the Services. The Company shall not be responsible for any disadvantages arising from the provision of false or inaccurate information.
5. Depending on the nature of the Services, the Company may require users to register as members for certain products.


Article 5 (Provision and Modification of Services)

1. The Company provides the following Services:
- Travel guide services and tour programs
- Digital content services
- Other services designated by the Company
2. Details of each Service are provided on the relevant product information page.
3. The Company may modify the content of the Services due to operational reasons (such as force majeure, local conditions, or unavoidable circumstances) or technical necessity.


Article 6 (Payment and Currency)

1. Users may pay for the Services using the payment methods provided by the Company, including credit cards and overseas payments (USD) through payment gateways (PG).
2. Service fees may be charged in United States Dollars (USD). Exchange rates and overseas transaction fees may apply during the payment process.
3. The Company shall not be responsible for additional costs arising from exchange rate fluctuations or the policies of card issuers or payment service providers.
4. Users must review the service details, pricing, and cancellation and refund policies before completing payment.
5. A service usage contract is deemed to be formed at the time payment is successfully completed.


Article 7 (Limitation of Liability)

1. The Company shall not be liable for a user’s failure to use the Services due to personal circumstances.
2. The Company shall not be responsible for damages arising from a user’s personal circumstances, illness, or accidents.
3. In cases where service provision is delayed or becomes impossible due to force majeure events such as natural disasters, war, terrorism, government regulations, or local conditions, the Company shall take appropriate measures in accordance with applicable laws and the Company’s cancellation and refund policies.
4. The Company’s liability for accidents occurring during travel shall be limited unless such accidents are caused by the Company’s willful misconduct or gross negligence.
5. The Company shall not be liable for damages caused by a user’s own fault.
6. Digital content is provided for informational purposes only. The Company shall not be responsible for outcomes resulting from a user’s personal judgment or issues related to the user’s device or technical environment.
7. The decision to purchase travel insurance and the scope of insurance coverage are the sole responsibility of the user. The Company shall not be held liable for the absence of insurance coverage or the limitations of any insurance policy.


Article 8 (Dispute Resolution)

1. The Company and users shall make good-faith efforts to resolve any disputes through mutual consultation.
2. If a dispute cannot be resolved through consultation, it shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of the Republic of Korea in accordance with applicable laws.


Article 9 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)

1. These Terms and any matters related to the use of the Services shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea.
2. Any legal disputes between the Company and users shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Republic of Korea.


Article 10 (Miscellaneous)

Matters not specified in these Terms shall be governed by applicable laws and the Company’s individual policies.

Travel Terms and Conditions (Tour Guide Services & Tour Programs)

These Travel Terms and Conditions govern the rights, obligations, and responsibilities between BRP Corporation Co., Ltd., operating under the brand Purple Shoes (the “Company”), and travelers in connection with the use of travel guide services and tour programs (the “Travel Products”) provided by the Company.
Matters not stipulated herein shall be governed by the Tourism Promotion Act, the Electronic Commerce Act, and the Standard Travel Terms and Conditions issued by the Korea Fair Trade Commission.


Article 1 (Description of Travel Products)

1. “Travel Products” refer to travel guide services and tour programs provided by the Company and may be operated in various formats, including private tours and group tours.
2. Specific details of each Travel Product, including itineraries, inclusions and exclusions, pricing, and conditions of use, shall be as stated on the relevant product detail page.


Article 2 (Minimum Number of Participants)

1. Depending on the nature of the Travel Product, a minimum number of participants may be required.
2. Where a minimum number of participants applies, such requirement and related conditions shall be disclosed in advance on the product detail page.
3. If the minimum number of participants is not met, the Company shall notify the traveler prior to departure and take appropriate action in accordance with applicable laws and the Company’s cancellation and refund policies.
4. Private tour products may be operated without a minimum participant requirement.


Article 3 (Changes to Travel Itinerary)

1. Travel itineraries shall be based on the information provided on the product detail page.
2. The Company may modify part of the itinerary in any of the following circumstances:
-Force majeure events such as natural disasters, adverse weather conditions, war, terrorism, or government orders
-Local conditions, traffic situations, or safety-related reasons
-When changes are unavoidable to ensure traveler safety or the smooth operation of the tour
3. In the event of an itinerary change, the Company shall notify the traveler in advance; however, where advance notice is not feasible, notice may be provided after the change.
4. When modifying an itinerary, the Company shall make reasonable efforts to provide alternative arrangements that maintain the overall quality and experience of the travel.
5. If an itinerary change makes it impossible to achieve the essential purpose of the travel, the Company shall take appropriate action in accordance with applicable laws and the Company’s cancellation and refund policies.


Article 4 (Assignment of Guides)

1. Travel Products may include a guide designated by the Company.
2. Guides may be employees of the Company or guides contracted by the Company, depending on the nature of the Travel Product.
3. In unavoidable circumstances, the Company may change the assigned guide, with notice provided either in advance or after the change.
4. A change of guide shall not be deemed a change to the contract unless it results in a substantial alteration of the essential content of the Travel Product.


Article 5 (Responsibilities of the Company)

1. The Company shall faithfully perform its obligations in providing Travel Products in accordance with applicable laws and these Terms and Conditions.
2. The Company shall be liable for accidents occurring during travel only to the extent permitted by applicable laws and only in cases of willful misconduct or gross negligence on the part of the Company.
3. The Company’s liability shall be limited for damages arising from the following causes:
-Willful misconduct or negligence of the traveler
-The traveler’s personal circumstances, illness, or accidents
4. In cases where service provision is delayed or becomes impossible due to force majeure events such as natural disasters, war, terrorism, government regulations, or local conditions, the Company shall take appropriate measures in accordance with applicable laws and the Company’s cancellation and refund policies.
5. The Company shall not be liable for damages arising from the traveler’s independent activities that are not directly related to the Travel Product.


Article 6 (Obligations of Travelers)

1. Travelers shall comply with local laws, public order, and safety instructions provided by the guide during travel.
2. Travelers are responsible for assessing their own health condition and suitability for travel and must exercise due care regarding risks that may arise during travel.
3. Any issues arising from the traveler’s own fault shall be the responsibility of the traveler.
4. The decision to purchase travel insurance and the scope of insurance coverage are the sole responsibility of the traveler. The Company shall not be held liable for the absence of insurance coverage or the limitations of any insurance policy.


Article 7 (Dispute Resolution)

1. The Company and the traveler shall endeavor to resolve any disputes through mutual consultation in good faith.
2. If a dispute cannot be resolved through consultation, it shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of the Republic of Korea in accordance with applicable laws.


Article 8 (Governing Law)

These Terms and Conditions and all matters related to the use of Travel Products shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea.

Digital Content Usage Policy

This notice sets forth the terms of use, copyright protection, and scope of use for digital content provided through the brand Purple Shoes, operated by BRP Corporation Co., Ltd. (the “Company”).Article 1 (Definition and Scope of Digital Content)
1. “Digital Content” refers to all electronic content included in the following products provided by the Company.
[Product Categories]
-Guidebook ONLY
-Video Guide ONLY
-Korea Guide Kit
These products may include an optional access extension service (“Extend Access”).
Users may extend their digital content access period in accordance with the method specified by the Company.
(Access extensions are provided on a monthly basis, and extension fees are as stated on the relevant product detail page.)
2. Digital Content included in the above products includes, but is not limited to:
-Guidebooks (PDF or equivalent digital formats)
-Video Guides (provided via streaming or download)
-Curated content such as restaurant maps, restaurant lists, and recommended place lists
-Any other digital materials or content additionally provided by the Company
3. The Company may provide portions of Digital Content free of charge for marketing or informational purposes, such as through email registration on a landing page or upon completion of membership registration. Any Digital Content provided free of charge is also subject to this notice.
4. The specific composition, delivery method, and conditions of use for Digital Content shall follow the information provided on each product’s detail page.

Article 2 (Provision of Digital Content)
1. Digital Content may be accessed and viewed through the Company’s website and mobile application.
Certain content may support offline viewing through the mobile application.
2. Digital Content is provided via download or online streaming after payment is completed.
3. The method of provision, access period, and availability of Digital Content may vary by product.
4. Access to Digital Content may be limited depending on the user’s device environment, network conditions, or operating system.


Article 3 (Refunds and Withdrawal of Purchase)
1. In accordance with the Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce, Digital Content is generally non-refundable once access or use has commenced.
2. Partial refunds are not available on the basis that certain content included in a product (such as the Korea Guide Kit) was not used.
3. Products involving access extensions (Extend Access) are also non-refundable, regardless of the number of days used after access has commenced.
4. Refunds may be granted only in the following exceptional cases:
-When no access or use of the content has occurred within 48 hours after payment
-When the content cannot be used due to a clear technical error attributable to the Company
5. Refunds are not available for reasons including, but not limited to, change of mind, personal circumstances, or issues related to the user’s device or environment.


Article 4 (Copyright and Scope of Use)

1. All Digital Content provided, whether paid or free of charge, is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws and remains the property of the Company.
2. Users may use Digital Content solely for personal travel preparation and personal use.
3. The following actions are strictly prohibited:
-Copying, distributing, reselling, or transferring Digital Content
-Sharing all or part of the content with third parties
-Commercial or profit-oriented use
-Creating derivative works, editing, or modifying content without prior consent from the Company
-Circumventing, removing, altering, disabling, weakening, or otherwise interfering with content protection features
-Manipulating service content by inserting code or other products by any means
-Accessing the service using robots, spiders, scrapers, or other automated means
-Decompiling, reverse engineering, or disassembling any software, product, or process accessible through the service
-Engaging in data mining, data collection, or data extraction methods
-Using automated tools, crawlers, scraping technologies, or artificial intelligence (AI) or machine learning technologies to access, analyze, learn from, or exploit the content or service


Article 5 (Account Use Restrictions and Prohibited Use)
1. Digital Content may only be used by the purchaser.
2. The maximum number of devices that may be logged in simultaneously is as follows:
-Guidebook ONLY / Video Guide ONLY: up to 2 devices
-Korea Guide Kit: up to 3 devices
3. If account sharing, use beyond the permitted number of devices, or other unauthorized use is detected, the Company may restrict access to the content or suspend the account without prior notice.
4. In addition to service restrictions, the Company may take legal action in accordance with applicable copyright laws and related regulations.


Article 6 (Limitation of Liability)

1. Digital Content is provided for informational purposes only.
The Company shall not be liable for outcomes resulting from the user’s personal judgment or use of the content.
2. To the extent permitted by applicable laws, the Company shall not be liable for any damages arising from the use of Digital Content unless caused by the Company’s willful misconduct or gross negligence.
